Brigid is the BEST! I’ve witnessed her proficiency in multiple weddings, most notably my sister’s and my own. She truly makes things seamless and handles all logistics in a calm manner. Brigid and Karen are truly the best! I can honestly say they made wedding planning fun and as stress free as possible. We attend a lot of weddings and truly nothing compares to the attention the give each aspect of the day to personalize the experience for guests and also ensure everything runs seamlessly. Beyond their expertise in planning and design, Brigid and Karen were both wonderful to work with. They were reassuring, consistent, and calm advisors on big and little decisions. They helped us select amazing vendors and brought everything together. I had a very clear vision for our wedding and Brigid and Karen understood it immediately. They helped my to priorities our rentals and extras while not sacrificing the over aesthetic or impact. They also suggested additional ideas to take everything one step further. From my perspective our wedding day was perfect. Maybe things went wrong but I truly will never know because Brigid and Karen are truly that good.

Karen is literally the best. From start to finish, she was extremely helpful, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable! Brigid and Karen are the dream team. We would have been so lost without them. They are unbelievably organized and had the very best recommendations for other vendors to work with. I loved how honest they were with me throughout the entire process. They were not afraid to say "that's a waste of money" or "I think you'll regret that choice". I truly cannot recommend them enough. The best single example of their flexibility and can do attitude came during our reception. After the father/daughter dance and during the mother/son dance my grandma came to me and said my grandpa would like to have a dance with me too. I told Brigid what was going on and she was able to coordinate with the band to announce another dance and picked the perfect song based on my description of "slow and short". She did this in about 60 seconds. None of our guests knew that this dance wasn't originally planned as part of the evening. It was seamless. The dance ended up being something I'll always cherish being able to share with my grandpa and I'm so thankful Brigid was able to make it happen. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and that wasn't because there were zero hiccups, it was because the team from i-do took care of any issue before I even knew something had happened. They are the absolute best!!!

Our Design Inspiration...
Gorgeous watercolor Save the dates and invitations set the tone for this wedding. We were inspired by the bright pops of color in tones of pink, green and robin's egg blue. Our favorite element was the watercolor monogram we were able to incorporate into everything from the escort and menu cards to the cocktail napkins and pillows on the lounge furniture. The color theme also carried over into the flowers, whimsical green and white charger plates and blush pink fabric draping on the ceiling of the tent. All of these custom touches created a romantic feeling that enchanted everyone as the sun went down behind a pink and purple streaked sky. The guests danced the night away under the stars in the soft glow of candlelight drinking His & Hers signature drinks - Tom's Maker's Mark Bourbon Old Fashioned and Alie's Kir Royale.

Our Design Inspiration...
One of our favorite design elements from this wedding was the custom photo booth Boxwood Hedge backdrop that fit the aesthetic of Ault Park perfectly. The color palette of blush, ivory, and gold gave the wedding an elegant, garden feel. As with all of our Ault Park weddings, we used low centerpieces to prevent potential floral disasters. The notoriously unpredictable "Pavilion" winds often topple taller arrangements used at weddings there. For this same reason, we chose to use a gold-framed seating chart on an easel inside vs. paper escort cards prone to blowing away. Lucky for us - the weather was beautiful that day!
