"We had such a fabulous experience with Karen, Brigid and her team at i-Do! My husband and I didn't have to worry about a THING on the day. Everyone was so well taken care of and enjoyed the whole process immensely. Karen and Brigid are PROS, and we would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you for making our day so special!" --Erin (Bride)
"Thank you for all you did to keep our planning on track and for keeping us organized. You and the team did a great job moving the ceremony chairs off the covered pool in time for cocktails and dancing. We had a wonderful day and so much fun!" --Rhonda (Mother of the Bride)
"Karen and Brigid are the BEST! We have worked with them for both of our daughters' weddings, and I can't imagine planning an event without their help and guidance. From start to finish they were great - organized, efficient and always willing to listen. The weddings were both spectacular and if something went wrong, we didn't know about it! I was able to enjoy all of the day, without worry. Do yourself and your family a big favor - work with i-do Weddings!" --Jeanie (Mother of the Bride)
"The absolute best decision we made was to hire i-do Wedding & Events for our wedding planners! Everything we wanted our daughter’s wedding to be and had envisioned - they brought to life perfectly. Their design knowledge, professionalism and organization skills make them top-of-the-line wedding planners. We had so many ideas, decor and personal touches that we wanted to incorporate into the wedding day. They worked their magic in setting up and executing everything we wanted into a stunning, customized setting. From the minute we signed up with them, they gave excellent vendor recommendations that started bringing our dream wedding to life. Every recommended vendor we chose was perfect and the time savings in narrowing down those choices was significant! On top of that, they made sure everything was on schedule at numerous meetings we had with the vendors and our venue over a 12 month period. They helped develop a detailed timeline for us which helped everyone (vendors, venue, wedding party, etc) stay on schedule and made the wedding day flow flawlessly. At the end of the night, the I-Do team packed everything up for us (27 boxes in all) as we went on with the post-wedding after-party celebration. I can’t say enough about everything they did for us and how they made our day completely stress-free. We are truly grateful they were by our side for the past year and especially on our wedding day." --Mary (Mother of the Bride)
Our Design Inspiration...
Gorgeous watercolor Save the dates and invitations set the tone for this wedding. We were inspired by the bright pops of color in tones of pink, green and robin's egg blue. Our favorite element was the watercolor monogram we were able to incorporate into everything from the escort and menu cards to the cocktail napkins and pillows on the lounge furniture. The color theme also carried over into the flowers, whimsical green and white charger plates and blush pink fabric draping on the ceiling of the tent. All of these custom touches created a romantic feeling that enchanted everyone as the sun went down behind a pink and purple streaked sky. The guests danced the night away under the stars in the soft glow of candlelight drinking His & Hers signature drinks - Tom's Maker's Mark Bourbon Old Fashioned and Alie's Kir Royale.
Our Design Inspiration...
One of our favorite design elements from this wedding was the custom photo booth Boxwood Hedge backdrop that fit the aesthetic of Ault Park perfectly. The color palette of blush, ivory, and gold gave the wedding an elegant, garden feel. As with all of our Ault Park weddings, we used low centerpieces to prevent potential floral disasters. The notoriously unpredictable "Pavilion" winds often topple taller arrangements used at weddings there. For this same reason, we chose to use a gold-framed seating chart on an easel inside vs. paper escort cards prone to blowing away. Lucky for us - the weather was beautiful that day!
"You guys rock!!! We can't thank you enough for all you did. Two ceremonies, the Barat, an afternoon lunch, and an evening reception with 400 guests is a lot to handle in one day - but you made it fun. If anything went wrong, I didn't know about it and our guests had a blast. Thank you for an amazing day!" --Jenna (Bride)
"i-do Weddings is incredible! They are professional, personable, and knowledgeable. They took the time and the effort to get to know us and our vision for our wedding, and because of it, always made excellent recommendations for vendors and services. They also took the time to get to know our communication styles and our decision-making process. They were advisors, an advocate, and a friend. Not only did they build a wonderful relationship with us, they clearly have an excellent reputation with many wedding vendors and professionals in the area. From the biggest challenges to the smallest details, nothing was too big or too small for them to create perfection. We truly had a dream wedding!" --Stephanie (Bride)
"i-do Weddings was the best thing that happened to our wedding. I'm originally from Cincinnati but planned my wedding from Chicago, and they made it the greatest experience. It rained the day of our wedding and their professionalism and calm demeanor plus impeccable planning made the situation no problem (which is the most a bride could ever ask for). Everyone at and in our wedding commented on how professional, organized and wonderful they were to work with. I would recommend I-Do Weddings for anyone getting married (and not just in Cincinnati)." --Jillian (Bride)
"Thank you for all the hard work and care that went into making our entire wedding weekend so perfect. Having a trustworthy team like you allowed us to enjoy the best weekend of our lives stress-free. From all the guidance and advice to the emotional support, dealing with rogue musicians, building in a pre-ceremony potty break and providing the best man and maid of honor Irish dance lessons...you really took care of every detail. We loved working with you and know our wedding would not have been half as organized or enjoyable for our families and guests without you." --Kate (Bride)
"I absolutely loved my wedding day. I wish I could have that day over and over again. As a perfectionist, wedding planning was difficult for me. The sheer number of options for vendors and decor were overwhelming. I had never thought of myself as a fancy enough person to have a wedding planner, but I determined that whether you have big ideas or small ideas, i-do Weddings makes you feel like yours is the only wedding they are planning. I contacted multiple wedding planners but felt the most comfortable when talking with them. They identified vendors that would align with our style and budget and implemented a schedule that made the day flawless for our guests. They helped me through times when I was indecisive, and they became someone to lean on throughout the process." --Rachel (Bride)
"Two years ago today you helped make my dream wedding come true. My intentions were to call you last year and thank you again, but Jared and I had a baby girl on our one year anniversary. As we watch our wedding video, I cannot help but smile and think of you and all of your hard work. You are amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you and happy wedding season." --Katie (Bride)
Our Design Inspiration...
This was our first wedding at BLDG. We had so much fun creating a unique design for this creative, artistic couple. The venue is a blank slate so we filled it with items that truly represented Jennifer and Matt in every way. The storefront decor was the real showstopper. Each plaster animal head on the chandelier was chosen for a reason (the alligator symbolized Florida where Jennifer went to school, the horse symbolized Kentucky where they live...) The front windows displayed hanging framed family photos as well as love notes written by the bride and groom in vinyl letters. But our favorite and most talked about design detail had to be the Edison bulb custom light fixture we had made by a very talented artist. This piece became the focal point of the reception and now hangs in their home!
"David and I wanted to send you a little note to say how incredibly grateful we are for all you did to help make our wedding weekend wonderful. Thank you for working with us from a distance and being so helpful and flexible with all our various plans and needs. It was a true treat to have you there with us to celebrate such an important event. The whole event truly went off without a hitch. For lack of a better word...the weekend was "perfect." Thank you, thank you, thank you for your thoughtful care and support of our wedding day." --Ashley (Bride)
"i-do Weddings was a pleasure to work with! They were always quick to respond to inquiries and very accommodating. Ault Park Pavilion is beautiful but requires a lot of vendors and moving parts to throw a wedding. They gave me so much comfort and support leading up to the wedding. When the wedding day came, their performance exceeded my expectations exponentially! They were in complete control and always a step ahead! I could not have enjoyed my special day as much as I did without them." --Kristin (Bride)

You played an integral part in the best day we could have ever imagined. As we are the first couple of our friends to get hitched, we will be sure to highly recommend you!" --Mike (Groom)

"Thanks soooo much for all your help with our "multiple ceremonies" wedding day. See you when my daughter gets engaged! Considering she will be going on to pre-med when she graduates next year, then med school, then a residency and more than likely a fellowship, it may be a few years - but you will be my first call." --Josie (Mother of the Groom)
