Our Design Inspiration...
Gorgeous watercolor Save the dates and invitations set the tone for this wedding. We were inspired by the bright pops of color in tones of pink, green and robin's egg blue. Our favorite element was the watercolor monogram we were able to incorporate into everything from the escort and menu cards to the cocktail napkins and pillows on the lounge furniture. The color theme also carried over into the flowers, whimsical green and white charger plates and blush pink fabric draping on the ceiling of the tent. All of these custom touches created a romantic feeling that enchanted everyone as the sun went down behind a pink and purple streaked sky. The guests danced the night away under the stars in the soft glow of candlelight drinking His & Hers signature drinks - Tom's Maker's Mark Bourbon Old Fashioned and Alie's Kir Royale.
Our Design Inspiration...
One of our favorite design elements from this wedding was the custom photo booth Boxwood Hedge backdrop that fit the aesthetic of Ault Park perfectly. The color palette of blush, ivory, and gold gave the wedding an elegant, garden feel. As with all of our Ault Park weddings, we used low centerpieces to prevent potential floral disasters. The notoriously unpredictable "Pavilion" winds often topple taller arrangements used at weddings there. For this same reason, we chose to use a gold-framed seating chart on an easel inside vs. paper escort cards prone to blowing away. Lucky for us - the weather was beautiful that day!

Our Design Inspiration...
This was our first wedding at BLDG. We had so much fun creating a unique design for this creative, artistic couple. The venue is a blank slate so we filled it with items that truly represented Jennifer and Matt in every way. The storefront decor was the real showstopper. Each plaster animal head on the chandelier was chosen for a reason (the alligator symbolized Florida where Jennifer went to school, the horse symbolized Kentucky where they live...) The front windows displayed hanging framed family photos as well as love notes written by the bride and groom in vinyl letters. But our favorite and most talked about design detail had to be the Edison bulb custom light fixture we had made by a very talented artist. This piece became the focal point of the reception and now hangs in their home!
